Looking at the idea of superficial representation of cultural heritage, this series of photos adopts conventions of fashion photography. Fashion being of the first art forms and expressions of heritage to be commodified for mass appeal. embodied by the cheongsam itself, the model appears lost and alienating, detached from identity.
